I’m stoked to say that our first ever movie night was sold out! It was great to see so many people from the community at the screening of “lost jewel of the atlantic” and interested to learn more about sustainable coastal development from greenshores.ca.
A special thanks to Brian Emmett and John Readshaw for coming to Tofino to give the presentation. Surfrider has plans for more movie nights in the future, so stay tuned.
The cleanup for radar beach that was going to happen on Aug 15 is now postposed due to the boat that we were going to use being required for a coastal emergency. Sorry for the last minute notice, but we’ll reschedule and do the clean up soon!
